Why diagnose the pack before you pay
You cannot evaluate a Tesla battery by looking at the range on the screen or a photo of a voltmeter. The pack is made of parallel groups of cells (bricks) wired in series, and the BMS monitors the voltage, temperature and capacity of each group: the battery's real condition lives in that data. That is why we offer the complete pack diagnostic as a standalone service, whether you are being sold a used battery or buying a used Tesla. You get the full report with every data point, a plain explanation of what each value means and our technical recommendation on the purchase.
What Our Battery Diagnostic Covers
SOH · Real state of health
We read the BMS and calculate how much capacity the pack has left versus original, not the range shown on screen.
SOC at the time of measurement
We record the exact charge level of every reading: without SOC, voltages and imbalance cannot be interpreted.
Total capacity and energy remaining
Nominal Full Pack in kWh and real usable energy, so you know what capacity you are actually buying.
Per-cell and per-brick voltage
Min, max and average of every cell group: reveals weak, dead or poorly connected bricks.
Imbalance (mV) at high and low SOC
We measure at the charge extremes, where the weak brick that hides at mid charge shows up.
Balancing and per-brick CAC
Capacity in Ah min, average and max per brick: separates calibration differences from physical ones.
Per-module temperatures
Hot spots that point to high internal resistance or cooling problems inside the pack.
Isolation resistance
Detects moisture or leakage to ground that can immobilize the car weeks after purchase.
BMS alert history
Stored past faults the seller may not mention and that never appear on the touchscreen.
Part number, HW ID and provenance
Part number, HW ID, pack ID, donor vehicle VIN and title type, to confirm compatibility and real origin.
Lifetime use of the pack
Mileage or lifetime energy throughput the pack has really seen, beyond what the car's odometer says.
Written report and recommendation
You get the full report, an explanation of each value and our technical recommendation: buy, negotiate or walk away.
