Inspection before your Tesla leaves the United States

Exporting a used vehicle from the USA now involves paperwork and proof: U.S. Customs expects the original certificate of title, and the EEI filing in AES must be accepted with an ITN before the car ships. On top of that, destination-country authorities, shipping lines and marine insurers increasingly ask for a documented inspection before loading.
